Hello!
I have an MPEG-2 file with Dolby Digital 5.1 sound (448 Kbps / 48 KHz) and after I installed some codecs I have succeeded without much synonymous, the File Import problem in Premiere Pro 1.5.
This file is detected as synonymous film but unfortunately the sound appears to be 48 KHz stereo and not a 5.1!
My question is, what do I have to do with the 5.1 sound of the MPEG-2 file is recognized in the premiere? Is that all, or should I give myself satisfied with the stereo sound?
The forum and the FAQ's I've already scoured !!!!!!!!! but unfortunately without success

manolo Yes .... But since it is clear that he has managed to import a WAV file. This has indeed AC3 with the maximum number of channels in common. AC3 Import into APP is not, I think.

So it's been a long time and now I have an iMac with iMovie HD, because the going much easier, but back relating to.
I'm not sure at first whether certain codecs to be installed, grab, but if in doubt, simply simply to the K-Lite code pack back.
As far as I can remember I have probably the audio track with VirtualDub-Mpeg2 extracted and then imported as a wave in APP.
