Importing Material of Sonydcr-PAL in trv820E Magix - Which Drivers?

Hello,
I'm trying system to merge material from the tape recorder of my Sonydv dcr trv820E PAL (born about 2000) in Magix (born 2009). The remote control the camera via the software works, but once the recording has started, it hangs the program.
Can someone say something about the drivers needed?

Via Firewire connected devices do not require drivers, because it can not be so. I would rather look for the cause of the software, but I have no experience with Magix.
