Infoseite // Installation error Adobe Premier Elements - SSE functionality

Frage von Stiasni:

I have an Athlon XP 1600 + processor on an Aspire 1300 laptop and want to install Adobe Premiere Elements 1.0.
Meanwhile, I have followed the recommendations of adobe and
1. Current BIOS to contain old notebook
2. Memory expanded to 752 MB

However, the CPU program WCPUID analysis indicates that the SSE functionality is not supported.
What should I do?

To my knowledge, can only Pentium processors SSE. In other words, the Athlon. But I've heard of many who use Adobe Premiere pro on the Athlon.

In AMD, there is SSE2 only s.Sockel 754 Athlon Clawhammer / Newcastle.
You have with the 1900 + but unfortunately only a Socket A processor.

There remains only switch board, Processor and memory if necessary. I have donated for about 240 ¬ s.The hardware industry. What really brings SSE2??

Incidentally, the 1900 + supports SSE normally. PE2 but will have SSE2.

Greetings and enjoy your shopping :-()

Hello everybody,

Yesterday I encountered the same problem. I tested at home on my calculator, P4, detail the program for a friend. I think it's a really good program.
Now I wanted to on his calculator, install Athlon XP, in order to teach it to him, there comes this error message with SSE2?
I knew not at first, that there is sowas ... let alone that one must pay attention to something.
That is, should I again go on the prowl.
Does anybody know if there is another all-around program, editing and DVD creation, which displays the audio track in wave form and with whom I can share tracks?

Ralf @ L: What did you buy it for 240, - Euro? Was the conversion difficult?

Regards
McConn

Hello McConn

1. Board K8NSC Gigabyte Socket 939
2. Athlon64 3000 + (Socket 939) Venice
Together with the PC specialists for ¬ 240.00

3. 1 GB DDR Ram, I had already - will cost about 115.00 ¬

4. Assembly is relatively simple.
But new board and processor = new Linux installation of XP needed -> use a lot of effort just to be able to PE2.0. Anyway, I had been thinking about an upgrade.

Socket 939 wg. retrofit the possibility still synonymous in the next year to a larger processor. The Venice is even lower levels in the 939 range.

It is of course a little cheaper if it is a current board for a 754 - processor buys. Since then, however, it would be an AMD Clawhammer or Newcastle. Otherwise, an upgrade is probably meaningless.

Ah yes, Intel (Socket 775) is synonymous not cheaper if it adds up Erlich.

Greeting
Ralf L.

There, I mentioned some of Programs:
FireWire FAQ">8. Which the recordings are edited and burned to DVD for example?

The best way you look at the respective Manufacturer's web site for the exact features and system requirements. Often synonymous offered free demo version. If they can install the demo version to use and then is synonymous to work the full version. ;-)
