Hello,
do not have a firewire port so I s.pc me a USB to Firewire cable purchased. To view the camcorder via USB s.Calculator and camcorder via FireWire s.dem can connect.
My Pc recognizes the camcorder but it probably can not use because he does not find drivers for this. So he knows that something has been connected, but not what.
I hope I kannjemand help.

... because it is because of its high price so far no one has bought, I do not know if it works ... Could you perhaps Slashcam not to move, to get a test copy on of them? A much cheaper Firewire upgrade seems to me sensible, but at least it would clarify whether the Pixela cable.

The question remains whether this DV - USB cable ever built? INet researched it in the exact name (PIX-UVCD/U1W), then there are only a few pages from Japan. This one (German) Report of 2004, which states that this cable only NTSC support, so with the use of local PAL camcorders anyway not debatable.
