Infoseite // JVC KY-19 / Operation of an IR LED targets on the "Mic Input" of the chamber

Frage von alex191183:

I'm new here in the forum, so erstmal HELLO TO All!

My situation is as follows:
I am working currently in a project s.der University s.einem new IR LED target for shooting in our virtual studio. Currently, a system of Orad in use and the corresponding IR LED target relates the voltage from the "Mic Input" of the camera (JVC KY-19). Precise details of this system does not suit me, unfortunately, only 12 VDC is s.Input of the IR LED Targets of Orad recorded. Also the Manual of the Camera unfortunately does not provide exact details of that input. The new system is much larger and therefore probably synonymous to some "hungry" in terms of power (at 12V approximately 3.5 A, ie about 40 W). Would it be possible to operate the new system directly synonymous s.der camera or is it in the case around an extra power supply is not? Possibly. suitable synonymous another Ein-/Output the camera for this purpose?

I would be very grateful for the help.

Alex

For God's sake, in connection with a mic-care is thought to be synonymous only s.Ampere boundless optimism. A handful mA'll get you out of there with a handful of volts. Just so you can just supply one or the other IR-LED. Depending on how the output is secured, perhaps synonymous 'accidentally' bit more. In the long run but that is not a reliable supply, except for minimum voltage polarity and there is nothing standardized synonymous only partially. With 40W of power is synonymous ne nem Camcorder Battery for reasonable terms no longer makes sense, since simply has its own power supply ago. What's that for a target where you want to, which meant that even the requirement to provide it to the camera?

Hi Carsten!

Thank you for rating. The target is directly s.der camera is mounted to the positioning of the camera (the whole) as I said in a virtual studio. Therefore, it would have been a nice solution, it can operate directly on s.der Camera. Then I'll probably have to resort to an extra power supply.

So much a target as a projector? Or is the target to the tracking of the camera? Then I would understand why it should be supplied via the Camera / should. But 40 watts in IR? Hard! Since it is a beautiful brown with ;-)
