I use 1.5 on WinXP Prem.Pro.
To work effectively, I need a singleplayer. There are on the second hand market of the JVC HR-DVS1 and the HR DVS3. Unfortunately, I do not know because for me the relevant difference. Is there any experience with the recorders. It is important to Prem.Pro compatibility. and WinXP, DV in / out and AV in / out.

Yes, in the workshops, for there to keep that in most cases.
A cheap DV camera is certainly better and not as susceptible.

got my recorder (; DVS1 HR) is 5 years
and 600 DV films processed noProbleme with the device.

Thank you for your reply. I have to import a cheap MiniDV, this is me after a year of continuous service; fumed off (due to control monitor on av / out)! Previously I have played about 70 caisson over the year and 20 played. With the tip of the cheap MiniDV I sign every amateur and semi-Prof. immediately.

600 films in 5 years? That would be about every 3 days expected one.

I use the HR-DVS3EU s.einem WinXP SP2-/APPro 1.5-editing suite. Previously, he ran s.einem WinXP-/Premiere6.02-Schnittplatz.
Use as a player / players back (; DV and VHS / SVHS) and via Firewire synonymous as a permanent connection to the TV monitor screen. Has never had any problems or failures. He turns practically on booting the PC and will remain active until the PC is shut down again.
The difference to DVS2 / 1 I can not tell you unfortunately.
