Infoseite // JVC TM-H150C control monitor

Frage von curtis:

A very good day!

Since exactly one week I have here are my own first control screen. One of JVC TM-H150C.
As far as I'm quite happy synonymous, synonymous s.sich ever a good thing not to be dependent of rental equipment.

Only I have a problem with the box:

I work with Vegas 6 and have connected the monitor via a Canopus ADVC 110 to S-Video. In the test image on Blue Check particularly well visible but rather an extreme shifts / runtime error between the color transitions.
The call to the dealer revealed the following statement:
"Unfortunately, JVC is in default, but easy to fix." How could I, however, not be disclosed.
The box is brand new and cost me 500 Euros, I'd like a sharp picture for my money. Now I have my First of lending from one Sonygeholt, which has lower Resolutionhat, but has no such problem.
I remember dark here in the forum in an article or trial of JVC monitors have to read something about such a problem, but there has been synonymous offered no solution.

Who can help me here? I work at the moment for me s.einem really important project, which will decide a good stretch for my future orders. I am grateful for any help!

With the friendliest, P.

Hello,

as the monitor is new, reclaim the device (possibly directly from JVC in Friedberg *)! A wrong or improper adjustment, I would not accept from a professional video monitor.

The report on slashCAM was probably this one:

Yes, I said exactly this report Mark. Whether the problem is there described the same I can not tell with my limited technical knowledge. I have read through the section of the article again and think that my problem is something different because I was slightly confused.

So I do something more accurately describe the problem:

Subjectively, the picture is not really sharp. When printing a test image s.allen edges between the blur-like displacements of beams are visible up to 2 mm. With blue check the whole is even more evident.

I'm not sure whether the "standard" is, but I know that of my previous Sony-rental equipment differently.

The signal was exclusively at sS-Video, with out the result was always the same, no matter what device I followed. (SonyVX2100, Canopus ADVC 110, VCR and DV-setter)
The only thing I have not replaced the cable, which is not very high and can not be responsible in my opinion for the error.

I get a call this week of JVC, as should hopefully clarify. If anyone of you has to my data still an idea or a helpful hint, I am sure, of course, very grateful.

Sincerely, Philip

Antwort von Markus:

Hmmm, it is difficult, a "test image without picture judged" too.

In the Appendix you will find (m) a test image from premiere. This time give to your TM-H150 from and photograph the image errors so that you can see a relation. Incidentally, I have the same video monitor, and thus a good comparison.

Antwort von curtis:

(As always) Many thanks Mark for your expert assistance!

I telephoned the meantime with a man of JVC. The JVC People thought I was obvious to a DAC, however, was very kindly responded to my questions. Result: My monitor is normal. The "fuzziness" between color transitions is within the usual framework of the PAL system.
According to my Kallibrierungsbemühungen the whole thing has become a little better and now looks like this.

PS: I photographed because of my poor digicam on blue check. it is easy to recognize.

Hi Philip,

perhaps it is simply s.der tube.
Sonyverwendet always his Trinitron tubes. These have a stripe mask. The transition between the colors is so crisp sharp.
JVC uses ordinary shadow mask (inline) principle.
Perhaps this is the reason for your blur. If you are otherwise Sonygewohnt only ...
Take 'mal ne loupe and look exactly as you transition.

Greeting
stonee

Ps: To my knowledge there is in every television studio, from reason referred to, at least a Sony monitor: The reference monitor is almost always a Sony monitor (Class A)

Antwort von Markus:

Hello Philip,

This variation is normal. I have the same result on my JVC monitor and a simultaneously tested synonymous SonyPVM-14L1 shows this error.
