I have a JVC GR-DVX9 ... for that I bought myself a firewire card of sansun purchased (with PCI and cable - 6 pin to 4 pin)
The card is in device manager as a network adapter: "1394 Network" is synonymous appear: "Produced Connection" ...
furthermore synonymous stands in the device manager: "IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers" -> "VIA OHCI compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller"
as of the JVC jomepage described: they are located in the playback mode and a digital camera is connected to the network, JVC says the drift synonymous rnötig are no further .... but then when support among http://www.ramelectronics.net/ (-> drivers) but since I can only find very many files without beschreiubung with names only.
On the problem itself:
If I connect the camcorder ... nothing happens! ... nothing! is not recognized then.
My system:

the firewire patch of microsoft is synonymous installed.
Intel Celeron 2 GHz

Thanks for the answer, your entire topic about firewire, I have been in Gooooogle gefudnen, but somehow have brought nothing.
Possible cause:
1 XP with SP2? yes! patch of microsoft is on it.
2 wackelkandidat contact? I infer from
3-blocking program? everything out!
4 HD heavily fragmented? did last week before defragmenting, abe rich mach mal-day
5 free memory? enough!
6 inappropriate caput software? is indeed even nihct recognized (and DVIO scenalizer)
7 Hardware konfilikt? Wlan card and isdn some are still there ... But what happens off synonymous with anything
8 Direct x? 9.0c (is there snich standart in xp)
9 cables broken? I conclude again from there
10 Connection s.camcorder broken? I infer from HOFFENTLICH
11 OHCI? jo is in device manager

So book now have the two files from the driver.cab taken and she was in the drivers folder tuen but there are drinne gar nich, nich so I can replace them ... I am here still useable right?
