Hi, I have just the friend of JVC GZ-MG50E (Hard Disc Cam) for video editing get because HIS films on the hard disk is stored.
HOW do I get the movies now on my PC?
The thing has only one USB port!
As soon as I s.meinem Calculator contagious, I see 3 folders.
1x DCIM (as are jpg's inside)
1x EXTMOV (there are data with the extension "MOD")
1X SD_VIDEO with several subfolders and 1x MGR_INFO set the PRG001 is numbered sequentially. I suspect that because the videos are all shot. But all have the extension "MOD"
Do I need a software because of JVC because niergens mpg data vorhaden!
Synonymous was already in a shop and they were stumped on!
My friend (owner Cam) I need not ask because the order did not know.

What about the included software to use, then demand cut scenes and later to burn to DVD?
MOD files can be synonymous with change in MPG immediately of some programs to be adopted. I recommend, if possible, but not the amendment, because the file structure does not change by a simple unbenennen reached, I know many people in this forum to make that so.
Just take the supplied software to capture and edit, so bad in the JVC is not in very simple ways.

That means I need to set jvc software!

This is a Kritärium JVC for me not to buy (unless it has firewire).
Or is it always with the JVC software and then the stranger istallieren PC so that a short sequence (eg birthday) may be!

JVC has now seen in the current HDD models FW interface - actually very unusual - very laudable. (FW MG 135,155,255,275,575)
Change halt MOD to MPG and check with the programs (Ulead, Pinnacle and Magix) you get access.

yes, I've renamed the data, but unfortunately I always small sequences at the camera about half a minute long.
Anscheined Camera has a szenenerkännung and divided the recorded movie into several parts. It is simply too burdensome herauszukopieren individually and only after the renaming, I see that I have the wrong movie herauskopiert have (several shots which I do not need on the hard disk).
It is like holding the cat out of the bag prinzib!
I prefer to install the SW Blöde JVC before because I herumprobiere.
JVC without FW No Thanks! (and other manufacturers of course synonymous Proprietary SW which is required to send the data to bring s.PC).
So people prefer a few more Euros ausgben and a DV cam with FW buy, otherwise you have to always own the camera so that their SW mitnemen looking at the data over, you can play. ;-) [If the friend is at all ready to install the sw * g *]
