Frage von schrenkc:

Hello Video Fans

I have problems with the digitizer of the Kantenaufsteilung VHS.

I've just read that through a frequency-synthesize high frequencies s.Luma edges are generated, leading to a contrast enhancement of the contours lead.

I can s.Television the sharpness control all the way down turn, it acts much pleased.
But how should I adjust it when digitizing? On the PC monitor provides a highly sharpened picture a little better, however s.Television cruel.

When I Kantenaufsteilung only weakly applied, because I lose s.Resolution? I hope not, but when I turn the sharpness control far turn, I can from TV recordings s.Television still sketchy Teletext read, in faint sharpening is not. If the resolution but at a profit close?

Please give me tips.

Alex

The reason is that most TVs s.Videosignal rumpfuschen. Besides sharpening edges is synonymous increased contrast (also pretends sharpness) made happy. A PC monitor is (usually) be honest - there is the Picture through crispy spice it up.

No - what is not in the signal in it, no matter how clever algorithm rausholen.

No - only in this specific motif has Kantenaufsteilung the desired effect.

In other words, you should optimize for the TV screen. If anything, you should Kantenaufsteilung the only use for certain scenes.

Yes clear video in my opinion belongs on the TV screen (with me always a tube). The material will remain with me always synonymous interlaced. Should I use the controller now with other words gence down turn?

May times I wonder what hardware or software to your question? - When Canopus Picture Controller 300 would, for example, the center position without change, while Links-/Rechtsverschiebung by the controller to increase or decrease Kantenaufsteilung can.

In most cases, does the video (due to the weaker-acting Noise) better if it is soft set. Resolutionin the meaning is not lost, only the subjective impression of sharpness.

Without direct Vorher-/Nachher-Comparison think most people, you have some pictures from the extracted, because they are much more harmonious than the lavish original image. Image sharpness and a (perceived) sharpness impression is not everything. ;-)

Hello,

@ Markus: Well, I am referring here to the controller hardware sharpness a Panasonic NV-HS100 S-VHS recorder. If the knob in the middle, is already a considerable Kantenaufsteilung strong. This can be even more exaggerate or Aufsteilung something rausnehmen, although I do not know whether the convergence in the bottom position is disabled.

As I said, I feel A Picture überschärftes just cruel, which I get eye cancer. But a little (!) Sharpness is sometimes not at all bad. So s.besten directly with recorder s.Television evaluate themselves s.den lower positions of the controller based digitizer and then, yes?

But what explains the phenomenon with the obenbeschriebene teletext at high Aufsteilung? The text is displayed but with the help of barcodes flickering "in the Picture" transfer (also in the invisible Austastlücke).

Now I understand this part of the question ...
Had you understood it as if it were visible text in the picture.

But when teletext is clearly the thing: Technically, VT is a stroke model in the Austastlücke. These signals are of course much easier to read if their edges are aufgesteilt ...
That is the principle of each Kantenaufsteilung and so does it synonymous only s.senkrechten lines (such as teletext data, or the grid pattern of a test image) clever. Natural motifs versus them ...
So: If you are not exactly eager to read teletext are: finger away from the sharpness slider!

Hello again,

So now I am become a bit smarter. I will s.jetzt only "pleasant" digital copies of VHS making. I was just not sure whether synonymous nix lost, but you have enlightened me so wonderfully! Thank you ^ ^

Again on Teletext:
I've used synonymous for some time until I have understood that the normal Austastlücke Picture belongs to, like everything else. A real PAL signal has just full 625 lines, of which one sees only the flat bottom 576 as a Picture.
Teletext on VHS can be very handy when I want to know when (date, time) I've added something (if I do not usually like to have written - am very perfectionist :-)). I'm less a matter of the messages from ZDF xx2005 read on teletext.
If something I would like to look, yes I can do with s.Television recorder. When digitizing, the Austastlücke so lost - pity really! A "digital PAL-picture consists only of the lowest, 576 lines visible ;...(

So thank you again, you have my veil-like knowledge in the field "Kantenaufsteilung" significantly sharpened :-)!
