I intend the Canon XH-A1 to acquire. Is there a compatible LANC remote control (zoom, start / stop for tape drives, etc.)? Please order the exact description (manufacturer, etc.).

The MANFROTTO LANC controllers before and Bebob Zoe (for Sony / Canon) have to go. I use s.der the XH-A1 MANFROTTO 521 (not the PRO version). No problems.

If you are to me synonymous nor could indicate which functions you with your Manfrotto 521 s.der XH-A1 can run, I would be very grateful to you. (Bin by various info bezgl. the compatibility of the LANC port s.der XH-A1 Canon and some providers even been a little confused!)

- On / off (The XH-A1, of course previously with the "Power Wheel" will be turned on - then you can with the LANC remote control and one-off)
- Recording Start / Stop
- Manual focus
- Zoom
I have this remote control s.der SonyVX2100 previously used. There was the Zoomstart something ruckhaft. Therefore, I have no Zoomfahr recorded and function only for the choice of screen used.
The XH-A1 will start the zoom very smoothly - but I have only tested without recording. I have no experience of this production. It may very well be that the high resolution video but a jerk is to watch. At the very small LCD Camera s.der everything is fine
Basically: Sonyand Canon use the same protocol. Panasonic has its own protocol.

I had the day before the MF 523Pro s.meiner XH-A1 in use.
Did PushAF, on / off, manual zoom and Drehzoom in three modes, Rec The thing is on top and runs without a hitch and sugar to a corresponding 055Pro Tripod and Head (501) only first-class!
