I am looking for a new laptop.
This, I would like to synonymous editing of HD video in AVCHD format to use.

Which must be a minimum requirement for most laptop have?

Depending on the software you will not be so happy. AVCHD requires mostly a Quad Core Processor. With PowerDirector CyberLink of it is perhaps possible with this laptop AVCHD files.
I would lead to a faster processor recommended.

Laptops are due to lower performance for AVCHD more problematic - if you want, you should rather than intermediates of Canopus products go. Yes, the Power Director 7 native wants synonymous with less processing power - but because I would be synonymous on a laptop rather skeptical.

Also helps with Harddisk 7200 RPM (plus second external ev 10,000 rpm Raptor with eSATA) and dedicated graphics card (non-shared RAM). The first notebook with Quad now come out.

A possible faster dual core is at least as good as services do like a quad. Always depends on what application is used and where exactly are you certain advantages of a CPU architecture hoped.
When I was a year ago, a laptop, my desktop PC as a production system (synonymous for AVCHD) replaced. This will work quite well and now there's synonymous for laptops again faster CPUs - only cheaper are not really become.
So when it comes to AVCHD, is either a laptop for heavy investment due, or you can go the route cut through proxy or intermediates - or to stay with much smaller financial burden to the desktop.

I edit AVCHD on meiem large system with Intel Q 6600 processor. Alternatively, on the road, I have a Lap Top of Sonywith a core Duo Processor T8300 with Intel 2.4 GHz. On the Lap Top only runs smooth with PowerDirector view. With Vegas VdL 15, and it is virtually impossible.

Try times with the Alienware gamer laptop. Good, but the cost to the synonymous-3.5Kilo Euros but should achieve this. If not for travel :-)

AVCHD native editing is absolutely bananas!
For really good, smooth cut will require only the trans-coding to ordinary Intermediateformate (eg Canopus HQ codec) and a recent external disk (2.5 "or 3.5") and you can with virtually any dual core properly Book HD Videos snip! :)
On my Acer Aspire 5930G (P8600, 320GB HDD, 4GB RAM, 9600M GT), I believe it and just do not have any performance issues.

I do not think that I have 3000 euros or more will be spent.
