I have s.Leefolien a small (starting) line. Since I'm soon in Halle / Saale, I would light set to pay a visit to expand the collection. Article in the online offer from the manufacturer "Chris James Lighting Filters" are. To describe the products I stumbled over the entry: Shelf Life - 12 months (dark storage).
Did I understand correctly that the gel filters offered only have a lifespan of one year? Since I do not even need a day, would be required replacement after the specified period for me not economical.
Question s.die Illuminati: Would you - if my above assumption is correct - of gel sheets from-and prefer to Lee / Rosco ... guess? Has anyone older synonymous gel sheets in use? Thanks for your experience says
Antwort von Axel:
Our curtain lighting effect filters are Lee films, directly in front of 300 watt halogen surfaces (rods, similar construction lights). We have got used over the past 12 years, they - when we think about it! - To move about a year, as they fade unevenly. Finally, they are about 3 hours a day - shot with heat - before and between shows. If you survive the eye of film taken despite the "dark storage" just one year, it is probably more a gingerbread house-gelatin. Sorry for the unanswered mail. As I read, I had a terrible Christmas stomach. Now made up.
Antwort von Kino:
Thank you for now.
If any of my LEE 1,000 hours (nay, the last half synonymous) hold, they will probably survive me.
It took me only surprised that gel sheets are to eke out their existence in an apparently self-directed black role to leave after one year to the tube in breadcrumbs (my interpretation). I still hope to conflicts of values of experience represented here light caster, otherwise I leave it to.

I'm so concrete that now is not synonymous auf'm screen ... but if you use a lot of the parts they are definitely faster and down since the change makes sense even after a year - depending on use.
If they just lying around, however, packed well, I can not imagine that "age" the films so quickly ... .
May be the example with a full CTB lose time to do something and then one probably. only 7 / 8 CTB is ... but since someone would comment on who really know of the matter.

rush, a warm thank you synonymous,
I's is not about to wear in use, then things have already earned their money-yes. As synonymous to you I lack the imagination to be the gel sheets following a year of storage at best, limited yet available. Maybe I'll synonymous first two, three, and look what happened.
