Hi,
I've made fun today and Dollerei times my Velbon Tripod head and look aufgeschraubt seen - there was gaaanz sticky, viscous fat in it, what's that for a fatty? Did the part quickly zugeschraubt so I do not put make-C ... Is there something to buy? That seems to grease garnicht so badly to be due to the high viscosity!

Yes, thanks for the info. The stuff is quite expensive - important is that objects on the shear - and rotary shapers, the most "stuck together" so that no offset movements may occur (in the case of Tripod, the initial twitching ...). Since I am here with a lot of auto parts handling, I have several grease - grease machine and can try, but at each round, there were movements to which fork I'm fat yet not come to me only when unscrewing the tripod's fluid liquid and struck a positive thought I could say with such a substance sample, then clarified my question. Have now ordered a tube and will be times (over next week, unfortunately again) report how good the stuff is suitable. Since I have a 2nd PH-368 Velbon own head, I will at all times abgenudelten my rauskratzen fat and the fat inside fork to lubricate and then report whether it causes the same effect as the fat of the manufacturer Velbon. The PH-368er are fairly cheap ( ¬ p.38).

Yes fork fats that are very expensive but saves you better not especially if the buck is costing several thousand euros ;-) Often, you have these synonymous Typical Yellow Color.

I have special grease from the photo area (fat attenuation
Lens for worm gears). ArtNo and supplier in the article.
Is synonymous somewhat expensive but works.

So, today is finally my fat fork arrived and of course I've tried everything and can say: everything from the dealer, just beautiful, fluid movement, no twitching and initial the same sticky mass.
