Look of Film Snatch?

Can someone tell me how this ultra-cool look in the film Snatch Pigs and Diamonds is achieved. If you get out with the taste or the color balance filter used during recording or what? For all those who know the film: Do not stop what has the look of old film with rather "weak" color, but looks still hold "from new". Have not been hinbekommen nearly similar.

Hi Svante,
here was simply dug deep into the effects box. The look is created by reducing "saturation", the three color channels separately applied. Even with the costumes and the lighting is worked out that the effect synonymous pays.
The most striking stylistic device is a camera choreography, in which apparently very complicated camera movements with dollies, jibs or Steadicams very precise and in "slow motion" (actually very slowly and deliberately added), and realized with the tool "time remapping" in the digital section been accelerated. The effect was startling, as long as he was new: The camera was apparently throwing in a split second across the room to rotate 180 degrees and stop exactly in front of the ear clean confessed. " If you ever plan a complicated tracking shot, you can apply the technique synonymous without cheap grandstanding.

Hello,

Thanks for the tips. Yes Meinte synonymous really only the look. I still synonymous rausgefunden ne way yesterday, unless one is satisfied with the results of saturation:
Just the same video on a second channel and put the black and white set. Then as luminance transition between the two synonymous, and the colors are not as saturated. If it is too dark, n bissel with the brightness of the two (color and black and white fiddle) watching videos and how to achieve the best result.

Planning a short film where I plan to just such a camera movement. How do I redirect ds specifically transpose without much effort?

Did I understand correctly that one is to hold the camera pan in Zeitluprentempo and then accelerate with time remapping? What exactly should I look at the recording?

But that is in the inside of the section you quoted? Or do you mean with "easily" without a proper camera support? - Then the result will at best look cheap and blurred. Not without reason professionals use these tools.

Of me in the quoted passage is indeed already in there a lot, but it is not clear to me exactly how.

I'd try to march out how I interpret:

We have a steady cam available, with which I make the camera movement. Am I doing now in slow motion (If yes) how slow motion. Then the cut with "time-remapping speed" digital. As far as synonymous clear.

Unclear to me, however:
- Do the actors in this tracking shot is taken if in slow motion stand still all the time?

- And why the recording in slow motion?

Perhaps it is indeed synonymous to the hand, but I can see the forest for the moment ..... not too many trees in the way?

If the camera movement was so fast that centrifugal force would either control (speed + control + big way, not least on edge) or the motion is too complicated. Also, many martial arts scenes will run more slowly rotated in real time, but accelerated later. Clear that the actors should then have no dialogues.
