for a university project, we have some movies with a Panasonic AG HVX 201 AE recorded in HD. Later it turned out, unfortunately, the Final Cut Express 4 with the chosen format (DVC PRO HD, 1080i/720p) can not handle. With Final Cut Studio 2, we now although the films Calculator s.einem other import processing but would like to continue with FCE.
Is there a format with which the films possible loss of FCS2 on FCE4 transferable?

Apple Intermediate Codec format. Since this is the "working codec for HD material is of FCE, the FCE of clips directly imported.

Framerate, Resolutionusw. must hold true, otherwise there is nothing set. Check the settings you like, the FCE in "Easy Setup" shows s.and Include for export from the FCS parameters of material suitable for your configuration.
