Mask

Hello All,

I do like this simple task. AFX CS2

Have two levels down in the timeline window.
Level 1: Ball (released in psd)
Level 2: two columns with distance to each other.

Both levels are only one Picture (Still Image), not sequence.

The ball is out of the li. Column and appear to be being re. Pillar move and disappear behind it. It's not! ðJ

I have tried the following:
A mask in the level 1 (where d ball is located) between the two columns (Ebene2) draw / unravel, because only in this area should be visible d. Ball / move.

So now I have the settings synonymous "mask" in the same plane, that ball is no longer visible because it is outside the mask is raised.
Now do I key1 and key2 with a modified position of the ball, ie movement in the mask is so visible, but nothing is visible, because the mask associated movement!

What is wrong, Masquerade Ball and d. must be separate layers / layer be? Or what is it! Raised mask (yellow lines) should not be with d. move the ball with!

Thank you
bam

The mask is placed on the upper level, with the columns used in the area where the ball should be visible. A mask layer is also in between, but it is not necessary.

Antwort von BamBam:

ok a flat sequence exchange, mask mount + Invert Mask, and it works, but not quite!
Now I have the mask, where d. ball is visible, no more background of the upper level (columns), as a graphic background. So the interior of the mask is black and covered so that the upper level (columns).

How can I fix it?

Oh, right. Normally you should have the pillars so the ball just like in Photoshop can be exempt. Sure, you need three layers: the background, the ball in the middle and the columns in the foreground. It used to but that is just as fast to make in AAE. You duplizierst the column level, they lay the very top and they maskierst.
