Mac Final Cut Studio / Adobe Master Collection oder doch PC

Mac Final Cut Studio / Adobe Master Collection, or at PC

Frage von videofreund23:
Oktober 2009

Hello,

I would like to venture into the theme of "professional DV editing" and thus stands synonymous choosing the software.
As a student I get to use Final Cut Studio for 300 gnats, but without them the option to Commercial.
For 1100 there is the entire Creative Suite Master as Edu version including the possibility to use them commercially.

Am a student of media technology and one of the two Programs needed for one or other projects.

I come of imovie and now not so sure
if I ever catch on final cut or premiere of "initial-friendly" would be.

What would you recommend?

If the choice should fall on Adobe, then it is advisable to switch to PC (performance, stability, 64), or should we stay with Apple?

At the moment I own a Macbook pro late 2008th For FullHD certainly too lame, liebäugle with a new 27er image or just stop then a pc.

So I do not think that a MBP Late 2008 is too lame for Full-HD. Natural Should 4 GB or more 6 GB (8 yes, unfortunately, go reinstecken s.den for 2009 models only).

Clearly, the Windows - version of CS4 is certainly a little brisk than the Mac version, but I think it with the saying: One Mac, Mac always :-)

Incidentally, the last version of Final Cut Express safe to start from perfect, synonymous for HD.

Antwort von KlausZ:

If you already have Mac one, I would think not for long.
With FCS you can probably cover 70-80%.
The difference btwn Premiere Pro and Final Cut is not so great - Final Cut Pro is probably something more powerful, but not so complicated. Do not give a lot. Check out time Pixelmator as Photoshop clone.
If you want to take the risk, "switch to Windows" - have fun! I'm grad of the other way :-))

Antwort von Axel:

I feel subjectively the FCS Programs as simple as the Idingen. Because they are extremely logical. Anyway, they are simpler than the Adobe Suite Programs.

Full HD on a MacBook? The Mpeg2 - HDV format (of course with 1,4 k is not "full") and the XDCAM EX can be cut natively, if not synonymous many traces. This would be anyone who knows the Comparison, at least cut with FCS rather than on a MB with Premiere on a high-end PC. For everything else you need on a smaller Mac definitely ProRes what one hand, the less processor load, but then the hard drive zumüllt. To use Color and Motion to be clever - especially as the quality-preserving Floating - calculation, you need a 512 MB graphics card (there's synonymous to iMac and MBP). The MB I would keep in any case, what concerns the fundamental question of the system, there is no difficulty in finding such threads ....

And not even for 950 EUR you get a FCS3 full version (an upgrade, commercially available, ...). How many are in the gnats, I know not.

Antwort von videofreund23:

Thank you. Are obviously meant euros.

So is Final Cut Pro.

ne question now because of the hardware.
I have a mbp so, should it be more of an imac or macpro or will get one and sell the mbp 17er mpb

Which is priced between 2,000 and 3,000 euros.

I already have a 28mm screen.

The Creative Suite is surely not comparable with Final Cut Pro.

Final Cut Pro is only DV editing.

Creative Suite will involve Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Encore and many more.

1. CS4 runs on Win-based system better and faster than on Mac

2. Mac is expensive. Anyone who has only a breath of suspicion regarding hardware purchases are NOT Mac.

3. All the people I know use a Mac have no idea of computers. Some do not even know what a browser. These are my personal experiences with Mac users. All Daus at its finest!

Jo, buy yourself a Mac and pay more money for less hardware. I guarantee you that I for half the money is a win-7 based system build s.dem your Mac performancemäßig not even begin to ranreicht!

Check out views on current benchmarks. Mac sinks regards performance at nothing in Vergeleich win based on current systems.

But you do Ruig :-)

My tip.

No hardware but just buy Final Cut Express. So you'll be happy!

Does it cost you just ¬ 200 or a little less.

With your MacBook Pro without any problems you cut HD clips. (4GB Ram pure)

However, I do not know what FCE supports everything. (Make yourself smart on the Apple Page on the format)

I do it on a Macbook 2ghz intel core duo, 2gb ram succeeded 3HD traces (720/50p) cut above the liquid.

Oh, oh ... But now it was time a Kompetenzerguss the best kind:-O
1. Define faster? What makes me the fastest box when the workflow of slow everything?
2. Example calculation please? You can say a lot, then when it gets interesting documents.
Why do I have as of late idea of hardware, so I can make s.Computer my work?
You have to be car mechanics, so you can drive a car?
3. See above. I do not want to work with the computer, but with the software that is installed on it. The 500hp in the car are pretty pointless if they build the accelerator in the trunk.
Les thee times in user interaction and usability, then we are doing here next ...
