Hello everybody,
currently have a problem and hope to help. I have been about 1.5 years Magix VDL 2007/2008 and with my Panasonic NV GS200 no problems. PC with Windows XP Home Edition SP2, and recognizes the camera smoothly. Magix works.
Now is a SONY HDR-FX7 and come with HD starts at the theater. The Camera of Windows will be recognized. The Choice Recording HDV camcorder is the message from Magix "it could not connect to the device are manufactured." Connection is via Firewire.
Choice For Digital Video (DV) does everything as usual. What am I doing wrong. Must still be a setting and if so, where?
I hope you can help me.

Do you have the Camera menüseitig HD output set? Windows should then in Device Manager as AVC-band device.
Otherwise works here with XP2/VDL2008/XH-A1 after some initial problems with Windows drivers (http://forum.slashcam.de/hv-20-probleme-with-hdv-capturing-gt-cam-wird-nicht-erkannt-vt54558.html).

Thank you ... I-Link was to convert "A" ... She is only recognized as a DV ... off and even understand it ... why there is such a thing is not in the manual?
