Can I buy a "layman" an AVCHD cam, without my computer and I will despair s.der edit the videos? Said processing means for me to cut something, add titles and credits, so no big deal.
Currently I am filming with a SonyHDR HC5 and if I change I would like to have again the quality of the records.
What do you think in general, and which cams should I look closer?

AVCHD is lately more and more from the originally conceived as a playback format - has become the way to recording format - the amateur as synonymous in the semi AVCHD sample Reich has increasingly become part of ...
In this respect, since the quality should not be worse than with your current camera, if you want to stay in the same class of camera.
Can bring frustration with the processing agent, if you do not have adequate computer hardware at home. These can be found here but already a few threads ...
