Hello folks!
I'm an absolute novice in FinalCut Studio and now wants one of my Camera SonyHDR-FX7E HDV1080i a video in Final Cut Import (Log & Capture)!
Unfortunately I have my problems! Whats the best settings so that I send the material in full quality on my plate do! Is there an "automatic" mode where the software recognizes what material I want to import?
I'm grateful for any help!

The FX7 used parts to the same firmware as the FX1. These in turn must be in VCR menu, so that they are synonymous s.den HDV output.
Maybe you accidentally yes to "Downkonvertieren" set? That would be a miserable quality (ie, compared with HDV) state.
"VCR HDV / DV" should be set to "Auto" will, "iLink Conv" to "Off." Ought to be just the FX7.
