someone has an intelligent workflow for AVCHD footage of a SonyNXCAM for import into Avid Media Composer 3.5 and 4? Am in the Avid support forums, unfortunately, does not find anything satisfactory, Avid seems as well not have any clever solution to have ready. ... And who knows if there is ever doing what. Now to test but the complicated way than in DNxHD encoding and run through some situations, I just wanted to ask whether it is possible, if someone views one to five minutes of film (synonymous with file structure) to make available via a link?
Currently, the functionality of Avid been more than satisfactory ... and I try to change. Perhaps one or the other is so synonymous interested and offers his help.
Thanks and regards, Michi

Perhaps it does here: http://forum.videohelp.com/threads/314441-Customized-Version-of-FFMPEG-for-Professional-Usage
A batch file with the help of ffmpeg converts all the AVCHD files to a folder in DNxHD (could of course synonymous with one of the many work ffmpeg GUI Programs).
PS, s.Wochenende at NAB are supposed synonymous some news (AVID new version come out), maybe then we get AVCHD support ...
