Steadicam and external cable micro issues will probably make the cable because the stability of the Steadicam influenced.
Probably better external sound track with hand mic, or if Mike should not be visible with directional micro-fishing.

Spark gap is probably the best solution, but a micro synonymous Phone (s.einen broomstick; bound Angel) and the microphone cable as short as possible should keep going.
