The microphone connector is present (and Canon XM2.)

Steadicam and external cable micro issues will probably make the cable because the stability of the Steadicam influenced.
Probably better external sound track with hand mic, or if Mike should not be visible with directional micro-fishing.

When the Micro has a jack, there really is no problem.
What is the history Steadycam regard, I would fix it via a radio link or add the external sound, otherwise as I have said a cable of Steadycam always a different thing.

Spark gap is probably the best solution, but a micro synonymous Phone (s.einen broomstick; bound Angel) and the microphone cable as short as possible should keep going.
As I understand it would you not even run through the forest but have only a slight movement in the Picture.
Or (priced Lavaliermikro; lavalier) and minidisc recorder or änhliches device and will mean that the sound external. <--- That is good!

the initial question: with the appropriate adapter cable xlr to jack you can connect the most popular microphones directly s.The xm2 if they do not require phantom power. by the adaptation xlr jack on the execution signal is asymmetrical, however, which makes the compound more susceptible to noise interference.
