Mini Dv post s.PC Fundamental questions and more:)
Frage von beefsteak: Mai 2006
So next week I'm going to move up a MiniDV Camcorder (Pana. GS75 or 70)
Now I have some questions about the post.
My level of knowledge has been following.
The films are transferred to the PC via Firewire in 1:1. and 60min. occupy approximately 13 GB. - Here enough my normal onboard FW port, or it needs an extra ticket?
A few years ago (about 2001) I have rotated views s.der Uni a movie, I'm going to assume it is synonymous with a MiniDv Camera happened. There, the film was synonymous to a PC. There was, however, special hardware, with my left hand I could manage a sort of jog wheel mouse, then reeled it to the movie in real time dynamically right in front and back, the whole totally seconds. In his right hand, you could work with the normal PC mouse. The program and the hardware read everything in real time to edit what was really class. Articles husband could then paste to see a separate soundtrack and edit, insert effects, a and hide, etc. The director said the studio synonymous they have a special video card in the PC, allowing the entire
Now I ask myself to realize what I need at such a possibility of finishing s.meinem PC, especially the real-time processing? Since that time has indeed done a lot, my calculator (dates are below), for example, is much faster than the time of the university. Can I work with a "normal" program like the example of Magix Video, etc. similar, or do I need special hardware? If so which ones? Nor would such a hardware (jog wheel for the PC) interesting to see what is there (inexpensive but functional "g")
How long does it actually (about with my system) to be the 13.GB miniDV movie in such a DVD format has changed? And converts it to and processed until then. or processed and then converts to only one?
For useful answer I would be very grateful.
My system: Windows XP prof. AMD64 3200 + 1024 DDR 400Mhz ATI X850XT PE 2x 160 GB Sata hard disks

Your built-in Firewire port is sufficient. Modern software Programs such as Magix, Adobe Premiere, and whatever their names to meet your needs. You get the Liquid.Control example of Contour Jog Shuttle Pro V2 (or something similar), I have synonymous, and is a superfine thing. The time to conversion of DV-AVi to DVD-MPEG2 depends, among other things, of the number of employed Effects. 1h times can be converted into 1 hour, sometimes it can take five hours. A standard approach do not exist here. But please first cut of the film and edit. Converting to MPEG2 quite done at the end.
