'm still relatively new, with Vegas and have the
Movie Studio Platinum 9th
I've just discovered something and I think it is a possibility the number of tracks of four to eight increased.
You go for it as follows:
1st
Creating a New Project and select the audio format 5.1.
2nd
In the Timeline, insert another audio track, so that there are four.
3rd
Project -> Properties -> Audio ->
Masterbusmodus change of 5.1 surround to stereo
4th
Now it has eight audio tracks. The former is 5.1 tracks hot still "front", "middle", etc. but to rename.
Then there is the problem that can not be selected for Panorama at the envelope center and LFE tracks. Synonymous but the problem can be solved:
Just put in another lane, the panoramic curve allows a clip, make there a few manipulations s.der panoramic curve and then place this clip on the trail center or LFE. Now synonymous these two traces the surrounding views are set by curve.
The whole funzt course, if you do not want to work in stereo to 5.1.
So far I have not found that to make the "forced" additional tracks any problems. Perhaps this can indeed confirm again experienced a Vegas user.
I had four tracks for the sound editing too little, but with eight tracks, the movie studio very interesting. :-)

Or is there still a catch? Only that there are about ten times a better alternative. When Final Cut Studio finished his cut Pro timeline s.Soundtrack pass, that, that
much more, then there are more synonymous with iLife a similar solution: garage band. In garage band, there is an arrangement of "film" (or similar), in which one sees the film in a small window, the O-soundtrack, of course, in the sequencer. I cut with my last movie in Premiere Pro, then everything after Samplitude got there and set to music. Was on the export of audio tracks and cut away of Stummschnipseln annoying.
Too bad that can not handle all the cut-and audio programs with EDL or OMF and Nuendo is too expensive.
upgrade to Mac would still expensive .........
