hello together,
I have a problem:
I did with photo mosaic (freeware - if not known) creates a mosaic and would like to be displayed slowly.
it should be individual images appear and after some time to join a mosaic.
I'm just there with after effects cs3 to try, but as I stand in total.
wär for help or any other software suggestions really appreciated.

After Effects recognize but not the individual pictures!
The only way that I know would be with each einnem Picture image editing program cut, and then After Effects in order by position. I hope you do not have many images in the mosaic, otherwise you are sitting on it since years:).

This link contains a script which any masks in AE decomposed into individual compositions. Could be helpful.
1) individual photos of the mask Mosiaks
2) decompose
3) Animate
4) finished ;-) probably after many hours
