On my Movie Maker (Vista) I have the top left click on the "Imported Media", then they are to be seen again.

If you have imported files, adding up "Import Tasks" and then "Music Video or imüportiren go, you'll find them always on top next to" tasks "under the" collection ". So if you want to cut a film you need after the fact
