Lad the file times in Gspot (http://www.headbands.com/gspot/) and see if the WMV codec is shown as installed.
If so, the video is playing, if you under MS "1" and then "2" press?

You have a moviemaker created project file. You can play anything, but only if you save it with "File-> movie file" abspeicherst.
