I have a new video camera of Sony, but can the movie not on my maxBook import. QuickTime opens and writes these files can not be edited. The clips are in MPG format. I have tried downloading converters, which is unfortunately not synonymous. Here comes a text file that I can not read. How, then, please, can I have my movies on the Mac to import.

Hmmm, that's not so good. The SR30 is a camcorder and hard-to my knowledge is in MPEG2 format.
