Hello,
I have a lot of TV recordings in Mpeg2 format of my DVD / HDD recorder and would like to be loss-free as it is in Quicktime Movie also. mov format. I think this is the h.264 codec is the best of both the quality and memory size, right?
What programs can I do this? Preferably freeware.

SUPER So I tried on many occasions, however, can be given that the KBP / s is not exactly so as the video input, but only more or less synonymous and more if you choose the video output pixels as the input.

MPEG Streamclip, great program, it can encode, demux and cut a little bit.
Is it for Mac and Winbugs.
Using synonymous pros ;-)

Thanks for the link!
I had this program is ever tried, but you need Quicktime for Windows alternative in a very special version to convert to Mpeg2 and those I had previously not found. Since many of these could not find them now have an exact link to download the attached program, it does everything perfectly.
