Infoseite // Mpegs do not have to import it!

Frage von tomster5:

Moin,

I have a little problem with Premiere Pro CS4. I can not import Mpegs2. The latest update I have had to rename (CS4 Adobe Premiere Pro 4.2.1 update), and the tricks with which the file has not helped. The QuicktimeMPEG2 codec I have bought already, but has unfortunately not been much. In AE I can import the Mpegs2 does not synonymous.

I have already tried with several files. So it is not s.einem exotic codec or something.

When I reinziehen Mpegs in the premiere, first fuktioniert anything until the file is "Indicated". It will then receive the following error message:

Premiere Pro has encountered s.error.
(/ dlending/MediaCore/MediaLayer/ImporterHost/Make/Mac/../../Src/Importer/FileImporter.ccp1136.

Anyone know the problem? Does anyone have a solution?

System: Mac OS X 10.5.8 (all updates installed)

Mpeg2 SD's for the output format of a DVD. The video itself does not scold itself "x.mpeg" (usually some non-specific video and audio multiplexed together), but x.m2v ". It will premiere - I now appreciative times Brash import - and no further indexing synonymous ". However, this is without sound. An Mpeg file contains as an adhesive between Picture and sound a timecode index. As soon as you start to cut, like Premiere to re-create this index. So you could "m2v" and the import s.besten separately extracted Aiff Sound and overlapping. The problem remains that Premiere Mapping a cut the Gop-new structure must not seem over long distances and is able to adapt this "bear in mind" to.

The Apple solution would be better, but it is not the absence of FCS at your disposal. Try this with the getrtennten Import (cutting is slightly more difficult, of course) when do you feel about the so-called "smart rendering", which I myself do not find particularly smart.

Or you walk with the MPEG example MpegStreamclip to DV. That thou shalt fear, because of the indisputable quality loss. But then everything Gezicke in Premiere should have an end.

Moin,

thanks for the reply. I have before us is a mpeg2 muxed. So, unfortunately, with no separate m2v and audio track. Gerde times I've tried to rename it m2v - but can not import, unfortunately synonymous.

Converting course, is not so nice, you say it, because of the quality loss.

Mhh really funny - on my PC (WIN) I have no problem with importing Mpegs to.

Anyone else an idea?

Importing to MpegStreamclip and then demux to: M2V and Aiff.

Unfortunately I can not synonymous with Premiere on Mac so much to say only: You do not expect too much "quality of mercy" from Mpeg2 rendering in Premiere. Most of it is postponed, but recalculated, and this is exactly as you would convert to DV. Is it only a few sections: the uncomfortable, but lossless (and not frame accurate) Cutting Of Mpegs with MpegStreamclip would be the option.

Thanks for the reply.

That really makes me not so happy. You are always one step more in the workflow, if I have to encode each Mpegs before.

Perhaps it liegts s.MAC? am unfortunately synonymous rather the WIN users.

Has anyone else any other ideas?
