I consider a used Canon camcorder (HDR) to buy here - indeed originated in the United States and can therefore "only" NTSC - which is actually even more fluid than PAL - right?
NTSC = 30 or 29.97 fps
PAL = 25 fps
My Panasonic plasma TV can:

The camcorder can be as described:
24p Cinema Mode
30p Progressive Mode
Can I connect the NTSC - Camcorders Easily mind - or are the problems?
Sure, I could convert synonymous using Final Cut Express / Pro then the NTSC to PAL, but does ensure quality loss and costs unnecessary time.
What do the pros here?
