Infoseite // Need quick help with Adobe Encore DVD

Frage von freeko:

Hello dear forum

maybe someone can help me, I have the following problem:

I want to create a DVD with about 20 contributions. All are available as mpg. Now I would like a logo on each of the upper right over it have. The Photoshop mask I have.

The problem is, I would have to review all of mpg to avi process of change to pull in Premiere's logo on each and then back again.
This of course eats a lot of time and memory.

Is there a way in Encore's logo to go in or maybe something better?

Greetings Sven

Without re-coding of video you'll get the logo into it not.

Except ...

You build it as a subtitle.

Subtitles are nothing more interesting than BMP graphics and we can use almost anything as a BMP graphic. Some of the first DVDs had such a normal 16:9 version (as a 4:3 letterbox) and an "open matte" version. At closer look, you could see that the black stripes of the alleged letterbox version were simply switched subtitles.

And so it goes synonymous with your logo - unless you want it transparent and not have pixelated. For a high quality logo reencodieren you need.

But if you really clever exploits Encore, then it is wonderful:

You can be played from each film a "menu" make do and where to then-place-synonymous always your logo.

That is, you create 20 blank "menu" and draw objects in holding down the [alt] - button on it at your movies. So you produce a 'menu' object, which takes place in principle, simply a video as a background. On this "menu" you can take just any, additional object - that is synonymous draufziehen your logo -. These "menus" and then you link with your buttons on the home page.

How! ;-)
