Endlich mal wieder ne good idea of Panasonic.
Especially for the entire D-cinema camera heads and semi professional camcorders with HD-SDI output a real increase in quality.
Alone DVCPro HD instead of HDV is already the hammer.

The chopping s.der thing wahrscheinlih the device will cost as much as a normal camcorder.

No hard drive .... P2 ...
And whether the signal is now over 1394, or SDI ... I do not know whether this is the breakthrough and it is for an external recorder or dock should not prefer the P2 card into the camera connector?
Or what did I miss?

From an external device, I expect a little more than exclusive recording on P2 cards.
Stupid.
What if you have a little longer recording times without Fummelei wants?
Panasonic wants to appear to be any price their overpriced P2 cards bring s.den man.
A drive to the HDD on and off would be a useful enrichment, but who would then still have an interest s.P2 ....?
With HDD, I would have bought. So not. How stupid (or smart ...) of Panasonic.

Antwort von WoWu:

That with the longer recording times klappt synonymous with the change of the P2 card during the recording, but a Hd would be nice, especially the part so synonymous is not quite cheap ... and the playback options .... gift.

This is something I already know. But I said yes without Fummelei. Yes I want my camera to work and not concentrate on how many minutes the rest hergeben cards yet.
Also you need to either Manpower cards simultaneously on a laptop, etc., or enough to empty cards. Both will cost plenty of money.
It's really a shame, because I'd like the opportunity of mobile HD-SDI to DVC PRO HD recorded.
I think these media are more likely Exclusiveness counter-productive effect for the sale. The P2 is dead soon anyway, it will eventually work to CF adapter or SD type (or is there already?).

I agree with you completely agree and can absolutely understand your arguments.
Yes, the P2 will probably soon be over, because the computer industry PCMCI no longer supported and will probably only have a PC-Express bus, which is synonymous of the PCMCIA comes, but it is newer.
The Panasonic AVCCAMs have already PCE format, however, the SDA-Standard Specification and not in a proprietary ScanDisc Spec, and use SDHC cards. But the "Fummelei" is no less, quite the contrary, when I look at these toys map.
It amazes me really synonymous that Pana with the recorder still offers P2 and not synonymous least 2 PCE has integrated. (of the times quite apart HD) ... maybe they want to so its old P-Slots yet s.den bring buyers.
In any case, the device is really for a ton.

"... Or have I overlooked what ?..."

AVC-Intra codec installed!

I do not understand your excitement.
Runs fine but with P2. And as long as Sony with the cards as price remains unchanged, I see no reason for the alternative.
I believe that PANASONIC is a successor of the HPG10 brings integrated with AVC-I codec for I / O.

Hello Jürgen ..

well, but the AVC-I, I've already been on the camera board. That brings me, then nix.
But if you naturally with a quasi-transparent signal via the SDI out and then encoding in the recorder can do, that would of course be an opportunity for all to DVCProHD Cams AVC-I to come.
That would be the price, however, because the old people can use.

And on P2, I am not unhappy synonymous, especially not on the really well-functioning workflow.
Only I do not know what, besides the advantage described as a part of me now bring.
And if external recorder, it would be synonymous HD media as a welcome alternative to P2, since the cards now so synonymous not hold for eternity.

Edit:
Jau, here is slightly more:
http://www.studiodaily.com/main/news/feed.rss/10180.html
That seems really AVC-I, Class 100 and recorded as Cross Converter to work. And all in 10bit ... not bad.
You just have HDMI inputs and one could then not only SDI-type cameras and dock, as I said HD would have been not bad.
Perfect part in the environment of the many boring Field recorder, because that is the performance of a complete adult MAZ.
Weiss someone about the price?
