Frage von batman665:

Hello s.Alle.

I would like first to thank the creators of this wonderful site, that they exist.
Now to my question:
I am a Amatheurtheaterverein films and performances, and create DVDs from it. Before about 8 years, we have us a SonyDCR VX700 angeschaft. Then a wonderful thing, but we now encounter s.seine limits.
The Schlim s.dieser Cam is that it is not possible regulator of the external audio input, the cable to the mic is about 20 feet long and cause despite 3Leiter system at intervals a voice soar in the internal amplifier and related bias in interviews immediately after such a pause.
The cam shows with very high-contrast streaks Bildverübergängen symptoms (blurring). And synonymous with dark surroundings, it tends to Noise.
Now to my question:
Is it worth switching to a new one action. Currently, I have taken the Panasonic PV-GS400 in the eye. The new SonyHD Cam would be synonymous interesting, although I do not know when I really need an HD recording.

Thank you for your answers

Antwort von WeiZen:

Moin,
look like you better if HDV is not an issue for you yet, because it represents a financial synonymous Angement on Kamers addition, after a SonyPD150 (VX2000) or PD170 (VX2100 The PS), the VX's comments with XLR connectors, well recommended for you .
The PD170 (VX2100) is much stronger light than its predecessor, and in addition an 3chip Vam, the VX700 has only one chip. The opposite was the successor to the VX1000, the VX2100 is.
Should you still HDV in the eye should be kept as the Z1, the FX1 with XLR connectors would be. In the FX1, the maximum ADJUSTABLE GAIN +18 dB, is on the Z1 +36 dB
For HDV, a PC with Server Board (is advisable 64BIT PCI and dual Xenon CPU's) with EdiusNX.
Greeting
Ulrich
