Hi,
I'm looking for an inexpensive entry-level camcorder for the occasional private second-hand, ie, vacation and concert recordings.
Meanwhile, there are already ~ 200euro for an interesting choice, but I am unfortunately too little familiar to me for a specific device to decide.
Looking at the current choice in this price segment,

You're as much to professional, in the commercial recordings are (rock) concert recordings or festivals, where I would like to watch films, especially of Tripod and external audio inputs can be used will be quite far away. Some amateur nature is quite normal.
It was rather that the picture of short-term higher utilization of the zoom, so close-up of a person / tool, not just looks like an epileptic seizure:)
The whole course is in the price / performance ratio and can be seen as can be seen in this price class probably not expect too much, so it's really purely a matter for this price is the best device to be found.

forget cams with high zoom (20x). 12x with a maximum building stable, you can keep quiet. würd in this environment but I say a maximum of 7x. This concert will be rather dark - look at a couple of Sonys.

Why apart from ext. MicEingang you think of the Canon?
One point I should perhaps mention synonymous, because of the often very dark places (Puplikum) at concerts, for me would be a good "Night / Low light function is desirable. With the IR technique of Sonyhabe I learned and was quite happy, apart from the fact that the halt Picture slightly greenish.
But as far as I know, there are not many alternatives, other Manufacturer realize the night mode with longer exposure times, which is the color verhindet, but with strong motion artifacts etc leads.
