Stu Masch has wit on his blog Prolost following email (allegedly) of Nikon released in the Nikon work s.einem confirms firmware update for D-SLRs with manual control of shutter speed and ISO in the video to allow:

We are working on s.update to these equipments to allow manual selection of shutter speeds and ISO during D-Movie mode and more, we do not have a specific date but we are working on it. We have had customers with the same concern and we are trying to improve on this firmware update.
