Hi! Obs so no clue there is a thread, but it's important!
So I want to make a film of ner Cam on hard drive.
Cam: Sony DCR-TRV255E PAL (S-Video and DV-output)
Adapter (S-Video s.USB2.0): Dazzle DVC 80
Aufnahmeproggis: Pinnacle Studio 8 SE or Movie Star 5
Problem: when I want to capture video with Pinnacle, he recognizes the adapter, but apparently not the action. Do I want to take it with Movie Star 5, although he recognizes the adapter + Cam, but I have no sound ... s.end (PS: I mus add the video via S-Video to USB, because I did not have DV input) HELP! What could be ??????????

About S-video is only transmitted the Picture. You need the audio output of your camcorder (usually in red and white RCA plugs) to connect with the line-in jack on the computer. In the Windows Mixer, Recording mode, activate the Line-in and record.

for whatever reason you closed your DV camcorder to analog? By doing this you loses not only the quality synonymous ease of use.
