SonyCam have a HDD. When I see the films on the Cam view, everything is ok. But do I copy the movies on the PC, there is no sound. Even if I direct the films s.PC of camera view (via USB), I have no sound. What am I doing wrong? There are all MPG files, as is the sound but with much saved. Can you help me? Thanks in advance.

have the same problem.
SonyDRC-SR30, with the Sony Transfer Software "Image MixerMenu" (included) and get, if I with the software directly onto the camcorder gets hit sound synonymous, but if I then click PC runterlade synonymous no sound.
With the Dolby Digital audio (AC3) 'shit' Now I get knowledgeable synonymous, but all tips have brought nothing. There is the possibility of each individual sequence painstakingly individually with the "conversion of AC3 audio in mpg" convert (then I have sound) but it can not be the intention.
If I were with Nero Showtime 2, the sequences direct control of the camcorder, I get no sound synonymous. But the nice reference to a missing "DVD Video Pug In," which is based on patent law zusätrzlich reasons to buy it. But so far still synonymous next to nothing.
If it goes next, then I give the camera back! Has someone another idea?

As long as nothing better until you find that you can make synonymous with freeware:
1.) Mpeg file demuxer (Dgindex: http://neuron2.net/dgmpgdec/dgmpgdec.html)
2.) AC3 sound to mpa or wave (BeLight: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/BeLight.htm)
3) separate audio and video capture and then connect

am relieved
with Video Studio 10 (with Dolby Digital 5.1), the video editing very well (with Video Studio 9 was not previously)
Sound and picture are available. Also with the latest Windows Media Player 11 can be used both as a sound synonymous Picture play.
So it was a pure software problem.

Conversion in the Sony software was like this:
- Image Mixer Start Menu
- Direct access to the CameraLink
- Double-click on the sequence (then you're in the Play mode)
- And there under the video comes the option: converting to mpeg
