No thumbnail for recording of HD material in Magix VDL15 plus

Hello, I have the following problem as early as synonymous Magix forum posted, but there so far received no response. Maybe someone here knows It's about following advice:
I "work" have been problems with the 2004/2005 version of VDL and more recently with VDL15plus. Yesterday I finally adopted by the DV format and an HDV camera to me (; CANON HV40) purchased.
My problem: When recording of videos from the HV40 does not appear in VDL15plus Thumbnail. I have now synonymous with a Sony HDV Camera tried my friend, but not here synonymous Thumbnail. The recording itself works, only the preview image is not displayed.

Can s.meiner onboard graphics card or lie s.Betriebssystem? My onboard graphics meets the requirements s.den HD editing described on the Magix site are?

No idea, I'm assuming that you have a check mark in the preview there. I'll preview out there with the intention of even purely open during capturing the VLC Player and open to the Capture File and hau deinterlacer Bob and make the picture as big as I want. Eh, the better solution.

So you take it in to Mpeg and you get there you can decide but where the file. 5 seconds after capturing you looking at the folder and open the file with the VLC Player (; I always capturing per 1 File), then you probably yes capturerst in 1080i, then you need to enable the deinterlacer.

With the help of the preview image and the control buttons so I steer the individual scenes on the tape s.and mark the beginning and end of scenes to be imported. So I create a list of scenes. When this is done, I would at VDL. to import all these scenes.
Without Thumbnail now I must always look at the display of the camcorder. This is impractical for 2 reasons: 1. The display is much smaller than the thumbnail. 2. The camcorder is not directly (in front of me; Firewire cable is too short, OK, I could change).

On the Magixforum I have received response. You write that you keep hearing that this error occurs sporadically, but until now it could not reproduce. For problems of this kind in HD and HDV cameras often helps one replacing the firewire hardware.
Well, I'll just buy me a long firewire cable and then just look at the camera screen. Greeting Bernie

So .. it is synonymous with me so that no preview is displayed, but I can control the camera. But I see the film (on the camera monitor and Canon HV30).
