Infoseite // Optimal Shutter Speed for Eisrallye

Frage von Auf Achse:

Keep in touch!

When we next down the shutter speed for "normal shots" have discussed interest me your experiences for the following situation: I will film coming weekend a Eisrallye. So much white, bright, quick movements, perhaps (sun?). This is a trailer to be built with SloMo, Normal Speed + Time Lapse.
In my earlier thread of shutter speeds for sports photography was of up to 1 / 250 the speech. In the interviews, landscape shots ... I would have had to stay with like 1 / 50 and only in the driving scenes to max. 1 / 250.
How does your experience in such shooting conditions -> synonymous in terms of SloMo + Time Lapse is the editing.

Thanks and regards,

As in other Thead:
Was generally 1 / 50, more than 1 / 100 when it absolutely will.

Keep packing on every case, an ND filter, a, at optimal values.

Welcome to Axis
For video recordings with a short exposure time, higher 1 / 100 may occur under circumstances strobe motion. The "exposure time, which works in this case is not like the photograph, since always read the 50 frames / fields per second. As I said, a good neutral density filter and a normal 1 / 50 to bring better results. Also think s.eine effective lens hood, which brings more than many believe!

Thanks for the tips!
@ TommyB: My XHA1s has switchable ND filter, I hope he is strong enough to snow.
@ Videobodo: I have not yet experimented with different shutter speeds than with 1 / 50. So my specific question, although we have great detail about Verschusszeit have discussed Aperture and so on. I repeated the question, I refer especially to the SloMo the editing. In SloMo effects, I turn speeds up to 25% of the original. Is 1 / 100 short enough so that there is no motion blur streak?

Is at 25% but you have a frame rate of about 12.5 frames / second, which already strongly reminiscent s.jerky.

Or will the Zwischenframes with special technology calculates (Vector)? I am referring to arise in any case Zwischenframes through apertures of the previous and subsequent frames.

In general, realistic slow motion at up to 50% 50i maximum speed possible, everything else would be more jolting. If you are working with more zusammengeblendeten Zwischenframes, then you should definitely take 1 / 50, because zusammengeblendete Zwischenframes fall on s.wenigsten.

I cut with CS4 ........ and do not know how this will be the Zwischenframes calculated. The SloMo is in CS4 but significantly better than it was at the premiere of 2nd
I have until recently filmed with a miniature canyon with no manual controls. When working with SloMo I noticed again that the result is sometimes better sometimes worse (jerky). I mean this with nearly the same image design: car drives sideways into the Picture -> I think the difference was the car of the camera selected shutter speed. That has to be better, less time working. True, 25% is borderline safe speed, but under the above circumstances, it succeeded very well!
Therefore, I ask myself now as well so that `s perfectly possible NOW!
