Infoseite // Output for TV as MXF

Frage von lassewiggson:

Hi,

I'm in the process create a customer for some guided tours in AE (; OSX). As the clips should be used up to now only online, was only intended as a final delivery synonymous ProRes422 (; HQ), and H264.

Now the customer wants but synonymous versions for TV, but I'm not particularly experienced, unfortunately, and would need a few tips.

So far I have rendered versions for TV as IMX MPEG2 I-Frame only 50Mbit / s on the Compressor. The file format is mov but then, it was always the same.

But now it works at 1080p and MXF with 4:2:2 sampling and 50Mbit / s and there heard me at the moment.
Is this about the XDCAM HD 1080p25 422 codec in Quicktime and if so, can I simply rename movs in mxf?
Do I need something like that: http://mxf4mac.com/mxf-gc-export?

I would be synonymous on literature tips very grateful.

"Is this is the XDCAM HD 422 1080p25 codec in Quicktime"

It is at least once to the format 1080p25 XDCAM HD 422. This is usually packaged as MXF. And in the MXF-variant, it is probably exactly what is required.

"Can I just movs in mxf rename it?"

No, an MXF file has its own structures and its own metadata. A simple renaming of. Mov on. Mxf does not work. The software must issue a correct MXF can.
