very stupid question:
I am already planning a movie for a museum exhibition:
the material is available in PAL DV widescreen - the question now is what a
Monitor / Display, I propose now to the people.
Is played on a HD player.
It should be a 16:9 monitor, but how wide should the be .... I reckon the Pal Dv wide width for the monitor?

So a permanent installation. As far as the viewer is away from the device? If not quite close in front of it and the monitor is not too large, then even a non-high-resolution picture should look very good if you take a relatively recent Samsung monitor, which have recently made a big step forward.
