Infoseite // PANASONIC GS400 - MICRO EXTENSION SOUGHT ...

Frage von mbpos:

Hello!
I am very very happy with my GS400 - synonymous via the built-MICRO I can not complain at all!
I should now make a few shots with the longer one Micro-cable ... PANSONIC when there is no extension for the included MICRO :-(
Now it-yourselfers, who knows a possibility to solve my problem? Is there somewhere other external MICRO with 5, 6 or 7 m cable? Has anyone bad things handicrafts and thus has the pin connections? Or is it all nonsense anyway, because with the extension of the signal diminishes so much that the sound is unusable? Many many thanks!

[It comes to orchestral and choral recordings, where the MICRO paziert should be centrally located and about the CAM, but rather next to ... Otherwise you can hear individual voices more or too much :-(]

I do not know the GS400, but with my HC1 I s.Mikrofoneingang already installed a 6-meter 3.5 jack extension. It works fine there. This extension, there are at Conrad or other electronics stores for about 5 euros.
Possibly. can in such an extension, the hum of fluorescent lights, power supplies, cell phones or similar. . grow

Can you briefly give an info on cable type and plug_pinning?

Thanks for the trouble times!
Unfortunately, it's not a simple jack but a mixture of pawl-and cinch plugs (6 pin -> 4 klinkensteckermäßig and 2 outside chinchmäßig). I think such a trade in normal times there is not ... But maybe ?!?!?!
So maybe someone knows ...

Hi All,

unbalanced microphone signals when transmitting electromagnetic interference are normal. Depending on the weather and location of these can vary, ie it can never predict if / when / how much you on the video recordings also listens to the radio and other radio stations.

Unfortunately, these problems make it very noticeable, especially in soft passages and can not be recovered afterwards usually synonymous filtered out.

Preferably a balanced microphone signal is transmitted, eg via XLR cable. As a consumer camcorder, but no connection for a balanced microphone signal is available, one would have either a mixer with matching dazwischenschalten inputs and outputs or directly record the sound separately.

that is correct but impractical mega ..... I will send once a 6-meter cable of me to try out. When he is not available under 1000 neon tubes, this should be enough ......

You do not need a single fluorescent tube to get to electromagnetic interference. I'm with unbalanced signal paths (even with only 3 meters) already made painful experiences. You can be lucky or unlucky synonymous. Even if you the location of the recording are testing the day before, the stray s.nächsten day all look different.

In CB radio (range up to max. 10 km) is the following phenomenon known: In certain weather conditions you have received from all over Europe! For unbalanced audio recordings that is the worst case scenario. Then you hear in the headphones and on the recordings in addition to the sonic event to be recorded very clearly all the possible interference and radio stations, however, and can not do anything. : - /

Now, such signals are with me only via balanced XLR cables. The once dreaded interference is of snow since yesterday. :-)
