my computer section should now look like this:
Intel Core 2 Duo with 2.4 GHz, 8 GB Ram (Win XP Prof 64)
Nvidia 8800 GT
Gigabyte EP35-DS3R Motherboard
3 x 500 GB disks via eSATA
Is there any components which would be worth replacing and thus reduced the problem that FullHD video (eg dslr) must be provided in Premiere expects you to look first? (Also General schnellerere editor)

As far as I can see, this is a question of your editing software is not necessarily the hardware that is with you so plentiful.
Iich example, had beeen at Quad core with 6 GB RAM problems with the files from the Canon 7D in Vegas Pro 8 or 9 runs in Vegas Pro 10 is the same hardware equipment.
