hallo erstmal,
I must say this forum has very detailed assistance, to lob;)
so now to my problem
I have been a few days SonyDCR-HC27E camcorder
synonymous have a firewire card and namely: equip IEEE 1394a 3 +1 PCI CARD
so now the tiresome spielchen, the pc does not recognize the cam!
But what really surprised me, is that it initially worked!
I already have videos without problems gecaptchert (hope the name correct;))
So no problems with the connection
than I am now trying the cam again anzuschliesen my pc recognizes it no more. all trying to connect failed.

-SP2 can not be directly deinstalieren, so I installed the latest version + all hotfixes on firewire.
reboot with-connected device uses nothing
-firewire drivers are synonymous newly installed (but only the windows driver, where I know one other so bad, if there are any?)

Have the solution!
It was really s.dem cable,
now have a new, from the same manufacturer, so of equip and it works flawlessly.
I have read somewhere that the junctions of the cable does not pass the correct size for the socket has s.der cam. it is true, the new cable is much easier to insert than the standard cable, which is in the firewire card was supplied.
ansich a very merkwüdige history, of a factory from new cable included does not work ...
