Hello!
following problem: We just completed a documentary produced in HDV 1080i. the material was captured HDV (15 bands at 63 min.) - in the premiere rendered to DV (for workflow - smooth 1080i playback, our system only in vlc player ..) - and cut ibid.
now is the processing of the AE - like put the avis offline and connected them with the mpeg streams - works perfectly - and purely with the project into AE. only: it depends! it imports the ppro project in about 20 minutes, which is about 700gb is not amazing ... but it totally depends. While the pictures again, but takes 5 minutes to the timeline to jump etc!
someone knows the problem, because who can help me?
the system:
Intel Pentium 4 hyperthreading dual 5GHz
2 GB DDR2
sata hd system I (only creative suite, ae, ppro2, WaveLab installed)
cut hd sata II RAID 0
GeForce 7600GT graka
for every 2 so far absolutely sufficient and good!

AE problem with interleaced formats? or just 1080i?
