Panasonic: Warranty when purchased abroad camcorders?
Frage von Kal111: November 2006
I have a rather specific question:
Knows someone, whether it is possible in Germany warranty to take if the camcorder in Switzerland has been purchased?
The background: in Switzerland to sell part of the variant GS180 (GS180 EK-S) is not only cheaper than here with us, but has still synonymous standard DV-IN enabled.
Thanks for all hints. Marko

Do you guarantee? This gives you your dealer in Switzerland according to local law.
Guarantee you will get after the warranty terms what you get when you purchase. Read them there after!
My Autofima gives me 5 years warranty on all parts not covered by wear but by a manufacturing error may have caused.
If I were on the highway all the wheels and lose a total loss they had me replace the 16 lug nuts! Free! But only if I give them a production error in the proof nuts! So just read it!

It is already clear to me, but I felt really guarantee. So I feel something is broken, I go to a German Panasonic Service and would like to repair, because even within the warranty period. Referring to me then s.Panasonic back to Switzerland, or does it go?
After reading, I can not because I have not bought. Was just an idea ...
Thanks and regards, Marko

Just Ask for the Swiss after Dealers!

If you are lucky, you'll get the purchase of a so-called International Warranty Card. This applies, as the name suggests, international, but is limited to the repair of any parts required. On the repair then in Germany incurred wages You Be sit. This is then usually have the cost advantage there. Whether you really get an international warranty, you answered the merchant shipping of your trust.
It remains only the argument data-in, for the purchase abroad talks. If because of the German would not inches.

Thanks for the hints.
Then the pay would not really matter. I probably would have the camera directly in Switzerland bought, I will go there soon anyway. Border controls are hardly up to my experience does not exist, so I have to worry less inch would have made ;-)
The guarantee is to me, however, very important, so it is no real alternative.
