Hi,
Since there is the Panasonic AG-DVC30 in the U.S. for about half the German price, I'm playing with the idea of importing them.
However, this only comes into question when it is the PAL version of somebody you know whether that is sold in the States?
Toll would of course if someone synonymous another shop would know.
What is there for, besides vlt. Canon XM2 s.Alternativen for DVC30?
As the two cams in direct Comparison be assessed?
I am simply looking for an affordable camcorder with most diverse and well-to-use manual controls.
In addition, the chips should be as large as possible in order to achieve the least hint of depth blur.

Warranty is of course a problem, but just are not naturally 1000EURO savings to be despised, for I renounce once synonymous few weeks on the Cam.

AFAIK, the Panasonic worldwide limited warranty of 90 days. After you pay for the repair.
That would be for me a knock-out argument.

To your first question: If the camera is cheaper by half, I do not assume that this is the PAL version. Whether the PAL version is manufactured in the U.S. I do not know.

I just looked up the manual of my camcorder.
He is easily on of PAL NTSC convertible. I'm assuming that is equal synonymous for cameras on the American market.

For American prices, make sure whether there will be already with the tax or not. In many price on it again comes the tax.

As far as I know it gibts the AG DVC 30 as PAL or NTSC version, it is not a Z 1The Both currently rules.
AG DVC 32 is however only in Pal get.
But you should still know the DVC 30 Pal Model with 470.000 pixels records, DVC has 30 Ntsc 410.00 Total MegaPixels.

Second, the GS 140 PAL can not play NTSC tapes synonymous, I had recently tried with Japanese NTSC, NTSC playback Sonykonnte but at least the recorded tapes.

Buy the DVC30 is NOT switchable, but you can certainly in the U.S., the PAL version, eg here: www.bhphoto.com (a well known and reliable dealer, shipped internationally synonymous) DVC32 is the model name for the Asian market - also PAL and otherwise identical with DVC30E.
TAXES:
U.S. sales tax you pay only when you buy in the shop, or ordered to an address in the same state as the dealer. For foreign orders ie usually not.
German value added tax you pay the other hand (when sending import) in any case.
