Here is my first video experience with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1 with the 14-140mm kit lens. The result you can find at Vimeo:

Also, I would like to mention that these are first subjective experience and with more routine, even better results are possible.
General observations I had for some time, SonyHDR-FX1000 - which I had made the recordings in the variety show, which are synonymous to find Vimeo. Its image quality (; exception of the depth-of-ways) is in some ways better than those of GH1 and most of all I miss the motorized zoom, peaking display, manual level control and headphone jack - but you have their respective advantages and disadvantages to weigh.
Basically, the GH1 has a somewhat mixed picture - sometimes literally: an excellent image quality for still images, with panning and zooming, it becomes problematic. The image quality at 720p50 panning mode is much better. However, I have used the 1080i mode, as after the cut in Sony Vegas Pro 9, the output in the AVCHD format is much faster - it will be re-rendered, only the parts that changes such as fades, effects, etc. included. Also, I have found no way out of Vegas in the AVCHD format output 720p50 on DVD. Amazingly Vegas with the 17 Mbps is more or less clear, although the presets only max. 16 Mbps for the AVCHD output can be selected. By the way, Vegas is the original import MTS files. Reception The pictures, incidentally found (in somewhat tricky lighting conditions, relatively dense forest) instead. I have worked mostly with the automatic exposure control, and some experiments with manual settings, but I usually with values between 4.0 and Aperture 5.8 (; synonymous depending on the maximum work. Zoom), shutter 1 / 50 and ISO settings between 200 and 400 . With manual exposure, the histogram display is very useful - to play in an otherwise very good LCD and viewfinder seems brighter than for standard setting in the recording - if the LCD is dark overall, it is more realistic. And the automatic recording seems to tend to something lighter, resulting in mild symptoms clipping in the highlights - I have often gegengeregelt with the exposure compensation with up to 3 steps. Intelligent Contrast compensation, I have not used, because I had assumed that is enabled by default and I have not found the setting at first. The menu selection is dependent on the mode of preference, for example (in the "Intelligent Auto" mode even when the basic settings, display setup) just a few menu items - a bit irritating. Meanwhile, I have some recordings made with activated "Intelligent Contrast compensation" and he seems to make a difference.
For the recording I used a Velbon DV7000 Tripod, which is not in the very uneven terrain, and the peculiarities of the tripod (see below) have been quite simple.
Handling Basically you can with the GH1 work well out of hand - it is relatively easy. I felt as a major problem in this context the very heavy duty zoom, especially synonymous is uneven and difficult to - depending on whether out or whether fast or slow. You write very cautious and objective. For me, burst in a hope to your video. I think the pan, but synonymous particularly fast movements of objects in the picture totally unreasonable for the "ambitious" short-film that I wanted to do with this camera as an affordable alternative to the 5D MKII. I must correct myself. These brutal stuttering in the playback of the videos were s.player the firefox browser. After the download and play in vlc but everything looked much better. When I run most small windows tools (; and there are some very useful result for the variant will never be a mac) with help of WINE (; Wine Is Not s.Emulator) and the commercial spin crossover (; preferably the GAME variant). I do not think this is a zumutung.

The tool checks not only the header but also the presence of picture slices, building just one frame. The header for the problem P-frames are indeed present. Otherwise it would be the player or not at all synonymous NLEs play. The synonymous shows that the Preoblem may be the memory card.
That work can be easily verified with a single step test with Vp9 s.den dates of issued points.
